Ghaziabad : Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) began a five-day training program on June 2, 2025, in Ghaziabad.


The program focuses on drug enforcement, quality control, and manufacturing for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathic (ASU&H) systems.
Participants include 15 representatives from across India.

The training was inaugurated by Dr. N Zaheer Ahmed, Director General, CCRUM, Ministry of Ayush, and Dr. Raman Mohan Singh, Director, PCIM&H.

- Pharmacognosy in traditional medicine systems
- Regulatory framework for ASU drugs
- Spectroscopic and chromatographic techniques
- Standardization of ASU&H formulations
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
- Introduction to pharmacopoeias and formularies
A short yoga session is included each day before lunch to help participants stay active and refreshed during sessions. The program will conclude on June 6, 2025.
